How are trust scores calculated?+
Trust scores are calculated across six pillars: reviews (35%), authenticity (20%), identity (15%), security (15%), transparency (10%), and performance (5%). Each entity page shows a full breakdown of exactly why the score is what it is.
Can I write a review anonymously?+
No. Reviews require a registered account to ensure accountability and help us detect fraud. Your display name is shown, but your email is never public.
How do I claim my business profile?+
Search for your business, then click "Claim This Profile" on the entity page. We support four verification methods: email domain match (fastest), HTML file upload, meta tag, and DNS TXT record.
Why is my trust score low?+
Low scores can be caused by negative community reviews, security issues (missing SSL, blacklist entries), young domain age, WHOIS privacy, or scam reports. Check the "Why this score?" section on your entity page for the full breakdown.
How do I report a scam?+
Use the "Report a Scam" button on any entity page or go to /report-scam. Include as much detail as possible — our moderation team reviews every report.
Can I remove a review?+
Reviews can only be removed by moderators if they violate our guidelines. If you believe a review is fake or violates our policies, use the "Report" flag on the review.
How do I delete my account?+
Contact us at support@scamtrustor.com with your registered email. Accounts are anonymized within 30 days.
